Job Description

About the position

Oversees and manage the loan portfolio ensuring credit quality and timely

assessment of credit risks.

Reviews underwriting and ensures timely process of credit transactions.

Monitors loan covenants and complies with regulatory requirements and bank

policies.

Meets regularly and seeks opportunities to grow relationship with

new/existing customers. Structure loans to meet the customer lending needs

within the Bank policy guidelines.

Oversees a team of staff members including portfolio managers, loan officers,

credit analysts, and portfolio servicing group etc.

Hires and trains staff members through coaching and mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of banking experience and 5 years of experience in managerial positions
  • Ability to analyze and organize financial information and perform complex financial calculations
  • Detailed knowledge of banking regulations and laws, compliance documentation, and reporting requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image
  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics
  • Excellent analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of ethical behavior and follow the Code of Conduct
  • Organizational ability with strong supervisory and management skills
  • Ability to remain flexible to adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Ability to study and apply new information
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail
