Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the overall product proposition from customer needs, its core benefit and payoff with clear differentiation.
- Take full ownership in all insurance product marketing initiatives including new product launches and product revamps, development of product collateral, translation and layout of product selling guide, portfolio factsheets and relevant regulatory disclosures to customers.
- Establish a good control framework and workflow to ensure compliance with all respective IA and HKMA requirements while adhering to best practices within the Bank.
- Take full ownership of the product content scope on the public website, collaborating directly with the Digital Team on product content and relevant internal sales platform, to ensure compliance with all regulatory disclosures, including dividend ratios, etc.
- Work collaboratively internally with key stakeholders (including Distribution, Product Development, Bank Marketing, Legal and Compliance of respective sales channels, Finance, Actuarial teams) to manage smooth execution of initiatives in product marketing and insurance proposition and distribution strategies.
- Lead and manage relevant regulatory and internal audit on product marketing.
- Lead and collaborate with HSIC Distribution Department to manage the product marketing budget, support marketing budget management, including vendor management, procurement, vendor payments, and cross‑department transfers and product marketing budget plan approvals.
- Be the project lead in Life Product Department to lead HSIC initiatives.
- Lead ad‑hoc projects and initiatives as assigned with alignment of HASE, Group Insurance and HSIC direction.
Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience with exposure to insurance industry, bancassurance experience will be an advantage.
- Experience in team and project management.
- Great sense of ownership, able to work diligently and have a positive mindset.
- Strong insurance product knowledge.
- Experience in managing risk‑control stakeholders is highly preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
