Job Description

ATFI has an immediate opening for Senior Process/Chemical Engineer with lead responsibility for production operations related to end to end manufacturing of ATFI’s specialty chemicals and paints related to ceramic products. The job includes further development, scale up, and improvement of product quality initiatives and R&D on new generation of formulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • BS/MS Chemical Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with scale up of R&D based chemicals to production levels of gallons per batch
  • Knowledge of chemical engineering principles for process design, manufacturing specialty chemicals and intimately familiar with establishment and use of Stanadard Operating Procedures.
  • Experience with process flow diagrams, writing technical and engineering reports, SOPs, and performing qualification reviews of emerging materials and process
  • Excellent communication skills and supervisory experience
