What You’ll Do

  • Lead development and optimization of thin-film deposition processes (PVD & MOCVD).
  • Design and execute structured experiments (DOE) for film quality and reproducibility.
  • Implement SPC-based process monitoring and defect reduction strategies.
  • Troubleshoot vacuum deposition challenges including contamination, stress, and adhesion.
  • Characterize and fingerprint thin-film performance for next-gen superconducting applications.
  • Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, recipes, and PFMEA plans.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support training for operations teams.
