Role Overview:

We are at a critical moment in the evolution of business operations. Slack has transformed into the Agentic Work OS, connecting people, data, and AI agents effortlessly. This role is central to that transformation. As a Slack Business Architect, you will play a key role in Salesforce's Customer Zero initiative, illustrating the potential of integrated solutions using Slack, Agentforce, and Sales Cloud. You will spearhead strategic initiatives across Prospect to Cash processes, delivering immediate victories and fostering long-term innovation that redefines the seller experience.

In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with stakeholders across product, IT, and business domains, translating intricate sales workflows into Slack-optimized solutions. Your responsibilities will include product evaluation, gap analysis, creative solution design, and driving implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Slack Experiences: Continuously optimize the Slack/Agentic experiences for designated business areas, ensuring they are user-friendly, impactful, and tailored to seller needs.
  • Maintain Product Roadmap: Oversee a clear, updated product roadmap detailing build schedules and alignment with the organization's Customer Zero transformation.
  • Lead Pre-GA Feature Rollouts: Manage the deployment of out-of-the-box tools and features, refining Sales Cloud and Slack integrations to boost seller productivity.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Collaborate closely with internal customers to gather requirements, analyze trends, and uncover innovation opportunities. Architect scalable processes leveraging Slack and Agentforce capabilities.
  • Feature Prioritization: Convert business objectives and customer needs into a prioritized feature backlog while assessing risks related to compliance and security.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor key metrics like product usage and seller productivity to identify potential improvements and facilitate rollout initiatives in synergy with IT and Change Management.
  • Act as Product Authority: Represent Slack's value proposition among stakeholders, overseeing the Prospect to Cash Slack integration strategy.
  • Contribute to Agentic Narrative: Assist in crafting internal communications that showcase Slack's role in Salesforce's transformation, underlining Customer Zero as a compelling case for customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales process technology, focusing on Prospect to Cash or sales strategy operations.
  • Technology Know-How: Proficiency with Salesforce Platform, Slack, and Agentforce; familiarity with AI technologies is highly desirable.
  • Documentation Skills: Proven ability to translate business needs into product solutions, including experience with process flows and functional documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with a global range of stakeholders; comfortable with both technical and executive audiences.
  • Deep Sales Process Understanding: Insight into seller and operational needs, with a track record of implementing Slack and agent-first initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Proven ability to leverage KPIs and analytics for strategic product decisions.
  • Analytical Skills: Critical evaluation of information to identify patterns and propose effective solutions with a Slack-first approach.
  • Process Optimization: Technology-focused insights to streamline business processes and enhance seller productivity.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent proven experience is required; experience may be evaluated based on critical competencies including work history, leadership roles, military service, or volunteer work.
