As our Sr. Product Safety Assurance Analyst (Non-Foods), you'll vet new and existing WFM (Whole Foods Market) Private Brands non-food products, investigate supplier programs in accordance with regulatory and WFM requirements, and provide expert technical guidance for product and process development across Body Care, Supplements, Pet Food, and other categories with elevated risk and safety considerations

Lead commercialization readiness for Private Brands non-food products, ensuring compliance with WFM quality standards and applicable regulations; partner with WFM Legal on complex regulatory requirements.
Provide Strategic Program Leadership.

A day in the life
Your day begins reviewing supplier documentation and test results for Body Care and Supplement launches, ensuring regulatory compliance. You collaborate with Product Developers and Merchandisers on risks for a new product launch, then conduct supplier diligence calls. You partner with WFM Legal on labeling claims and investigate out-of-specification results, developing CAPA plans with Supplier Quality Assurance. You advise leadership on regulatory changes and review Food Safety Plans. You solve critical problems: ensuring compliance, preventing safety incidents, protecting WFM's reputation, and most importantly - protecting customers' safety and upholding their trust.
