Senior Project Manager & Lead Electrical Engineer

Eramosa International, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of market-leading CIMA+ Group, is a specialist firm providing professional consulting engineering services to the Energy, Industrial, and Water/Wastewater sectors. We offer our clients a holistic approach to developing and implementing technology solutions for process control applications to meet their business requirements. We provide assessment and planning services; conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs, and commissioning and construction support services. We are also able to offer full networking, programming/integration, information technology, and SCADA System solutions through our sister company, Eramosa Engineering, Inc. Our team works with our clients throughout the project lifecycle and provides ongoing support post system start-up.

We are currently looking for individuals interested in a full-time Senior Project Manager /Lead Electrical Engineer (EOR) role with our company. Our team works from home on a permanent basis, with travel to client sites as required to support project needs. This position will require the successful candidate to be physically located in Southern California (ideally Los Angeles area) due to client site work access requirements.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Engineer of Record for California: Stamping and sealing electrical, automation and controls designs
• Project Management
• Lead LV/MV electrical, automation and controls studies and designs
• Provide direction to other staff for the completion of the designs through the development of but not limited to contract specifications, design drawings, process control narratives, I/O lists, design briefs, conceptual designs
• Support proposal and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• 12+ years’ experience designing low and medium Voltage electrical, automation and controls systems
• Licensed electrical engineer in the state of California with a NCEES Record for obtaining additional state licenses if required
• PLC panel design, network design, and instrumentation design skillsets preferred
• Knowledge of compliance with relevant electrical and construction codes
• High Voltage Substation Design experience considered an asset
• Experience in municipal water/wastewater considered an asset

The expected salary for this position is from $155,000 to $210,000 based on the richness and diversity of the candidate’s experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
