XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Senior Quality Engineer to join the team. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day quality operations for the Mesa production site. As part of your role, you will be ensuring that products meet quality standards and industry regulations.

An overview of your responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the quality of raw materials, packaging and finished products.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify areas for process improvement, implement changes, and monitor their effectiveness. Enforce safety regulation and promote a safe working environment.
  • Actively participate in new product development activities including design verification plans and reports, FMEAs, developing and providing quality deliverables including but not limited to production control plans, poke-yokes and other countermeasures, measurement systems analysis, early production containment, and capability studies.
  • Take ownership role in problem-solving efforts for both customer quality concerns and in-plant quality issues achieving permanent resolution of problems. Teach employees in team problem-solving.
  • Analyze quality data collected from inspections to identify trends, root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues promptly, including identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate quality concerns to team, address customer complaints, and work to prevent future quality issues
  • Lead continuous quality improvement projects to reduce cost of poor quality and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspection results, non-conformances, corrective actions, and other quality metrics
  • Create quality documentation

What you'll need, among other things!

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies
  • Proven experience in data analysis and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in the manufacturing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
