Senior Quantitative Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantitative Financial Analyst to join their dynamic, fully remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sophisticated quantitative models to assess financial risks, optimize investment portfolios, and price complex financial instruments. You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations. Key responsibilities include performing complex data analysis, backtesting strategies, building predictive models, and contributing to the firm's research and development efforts. You will also be involved in designing and executing stress tests and scenario analyses to evaluate portfolio resilience under various market conditions.

A strong background in econometrics, statistical modeling, and time-series analysis is essential. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (with libraries like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas) and R is a must. Experience with SQL for database querying and manipulation is also required. The ability to translate complex quantitative concepts into clear, concise explanations for non-technical audiences is crucial.

We are looking for individuals with a Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
