Job Description

Our client, a leading real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly analytical and driven Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their esteemed team in Dallas, Texas, US . This role is crucial for evaluating potential real estate acquisitions and developing investment strategies. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and portfolio analysis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional quantitative skills, a strong understanding of real estate finance, and a proven ability to identify lucrative investment opportunities in diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive financial analysis, including discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling, IRR calculations, and sensitivity analysis for potential acquisitions and existing portfolio assets. Conduct thorough market research to identify real estate trends, economic drivers, and competitive landscapes. Assist in the due diligence process for new acquisitions, including property tours, site assessments, and lease abstracting. Prepare detailed investment memorandums and presentations for the Investment Committee. Monitor and analyze the performance of existing real estate investments and provide recommendations for asset management strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and other industry professionals. Collaborate with legal, finance, and asset management teams to ensure successful deal execution and asset oversight. Stay abreast of industry best practices, market conditions, and regulatory changes impacting real estate investments. Assist in the creation of budgets and forecasts for owned properties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field. MBA or Master's degree in Finance/Real Estate is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, or capital markets. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling in Excel, including ARGUS Enterprise is highly desirable. Strong understanding of real estate valuation methodologies and capital markets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools. Experience with commercial real estate sectors (e.g., office, retail, industrial, multifamily).
