Job Description

Our client, a prominent real estate investment firm, is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Senior Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their fully remote team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-value investment decisions from anywhere in the US. The analyst will be responsible for conducting comprehensive market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and feasibility studies for potential real estate acquisitions across various property types and geographies. You will play a crucial role in identifying investment opportunities, assessing risks, and providing data-driven recommendations to senior management. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional financial acumen, a deep understanding of real estate markets, and advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

Primary responsibilities include:

Developing detailed financial models to forecast property performance, analyze investment returns (IRR, ROI, NPV), and assess risk. Conducting in-depth market research and trend analysis to identify viable investment opportunities and inform strategic decisions. Performing comprehensive due diligence on potential acquisitions, including property analysis, site visits (as needed), and title/environmental reviews. Preparing investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for internal stakeholders and potential co-investors. Analyzing comparable sales, leasing data, and market trends to establish property valuations. Assisting in the negotiation and structuring of real estate transactions. Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio assets and providing recommendations for asset management strategies. Collaborating effectively with external partners, including brokers, appraisers, legal counsel, and lenders. Staying current with real estate investment best practices, market dynamics, and regulatory changes. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in real estate investment analysis, acquisitions, or capital markets is essential. Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial modeling (DCF, LBO, sensitivity analysis) and strong skills in Argus Enterprise are mandatory. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written/verbal communication skills are paramount.
