Job Description

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding real estate investment firm seeking a seasoned Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and grow its diverse portfolio. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to manage assets from anywhere within the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, financial performance, and operational oversight of a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. A deep understanding of real estate markets, financial modeling, and asset management is essential.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for the acquisition, management, and disposition of real estate assets to maximize portfolio value and achieve investment objectives. Conduct thorough market research and financial analysis to identify new investment opportunities and assess portfolio performance. Manage relationships with property managers, leasing agents, brokers, and other third-party service providers. Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and capital expenditure plans for each property within the portfolio. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the portfolio, including occupancy rates, rental income, operating expenses, and return on investment. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and lease requirements. Lead due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and dispositions. Develop and present comprehensive portfolio reviews and investment recommendations to senior leadership. Identify opportunities for property improvements and value-add strategies. Manage risk within the portfolio through effective insurance and legal strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree in Real Estate is a strong plus. Minimum of 8 years of experience in real estate asset management, portfolio management, or investment analysis. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets. Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, investment strategies, and property operations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in real estate software and financial analysis tools. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting. Experience with various property types (e.g., multi-family, retail, office, industrial) is advantageous.
