Job Description

Job Summary

Support fab layout planning and equipment relocation activities to ensure efficient space utilization, smooth operational execution, and minimal production impact during relocation or expansion projects within manufacturing and R&D environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support fab layout planning activities for equipment installation, line expansion, and operational optimization.
  • Prepare and maintain layout drawings, space utilization studies, and equipment arrangement plans.
  • Coordinate equipment relocation activities including move-in/move-out preparation, utility readiness, and execution follow-up.
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, R&D teams, and vendors to ensure smooth relocation execution.
  • Perform feasibility studies and impact assessments for layout changes and relocation activities.
  • Support initiatives to improve material flow, manpower efficiency, and space utilization.
  • Prepare and coordinate on relocation schedules, risk assessments, contingency plans, and progress tracking reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanroom, and operational requirements during relocation activities.
  • Support tool setup activities including infrastructure readiness, utility coordination, and equipment hook-up arrangements.
  • Monitor project progress and assist in resolving execution issues to minimize downtime and operational impact.
  • Maintain proper documentation including layout revisions, relocation records, and project reports.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity and manufacturing flow enhancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, factory operation, or R&D environments
  • Experience in fab layout planning and equipment relocation activities, candidates with fab expansion project experience will be preferred.
  • Good in working with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors during setup or relocation activities is preferred.
  • Familiar with infrastructure coordination, equipment setup protocal sequence, and operational support within manufacturing or R&D environments.
  • Familiar with cleanroom practices, safety requirements, and operational compliance.
  • Good coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in semiconductor/fab operations environment.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing flow optimization and space planning.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills using AutoCAD, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
