Job Description

Our client, a leading biotechnology firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Scientist to join their innovative team in **Denver, Colorado, US**. This role focuses on cutting-edge research and development in molecular biology, aiming to discover and develop novel therapeutic targets.

Responsibilities: Design, execute, and analyze complex experiments in molecular biology, cell biology, and biochemistry. Develop and optimize new assays for target identification and validation. Troubleshoot experimental procedures and data interpretation. Supervise and mentor junior research associates and technicians. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including computational biology, pharmacology, and clinical development. Contribute to the interpretation of research findings and the preparation of manuscripts for publication and presentations at scientific conferences. Maintain meticulous records of experiments and data. Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in the field. Contribute to the strategic direction of research programs. Ensure compliance with all laboratory safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience. Proven track record of successfully leading research projects and publishing in peer-reviewed journals. Extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, cloning, Western blotting, and ELISA. Strong understanding of cell culture techniques and mammalian cell line manipulation. Experience with high-throughput screening and data analysis is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex scientific information. Experience with laboratory management and mentorship is highly desirable. Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced research environment. This is a hybrid position, requiring some on-site presence in our **Denver, Colorado, US** facility for collaborative work and laboratory-based research activities.
