Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk models and methodologies. Analyze loan portfolios to identify trends, assess risk concentrations, and forecast potential losses. Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and report on credit risk exposures to senior management. Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of adverse economic conditions. Collaborate with business lines to ensure risk management practices are integrated into daily operations. Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in credit risk management. Communicate complex risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, financial analysis, or quantitative modeling within the banking or financial services sector. Strong understanding of credit risk principles, credit scoring models, and financial statement analysis. Proficiency in statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Python) and database querying (SQL). Experience with risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel Accords). Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings effectively. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with capital markets instruments and derivatives is a plus.
