Our client, a distinguished leader in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Senior Risk Analyst to join their sophisticated risk management division, based in **Denver, Colorado, US**. This is a critical role focused on evaluating and mitigating complex risks associated with specialty insurance lines, including but not limited to cyber, professional liability, and environmental risks. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing robust risk assessment frameworks, analyzing large datasets to identify emerging trends and potential exposures, and providing strategic recommendations to underwriting and executive teams.

Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth quantitative and qualitative risk analyses, modeling potential financial impacts of various risk scenarios, and contributing to the development of risk appetite statements and tolerance levels. You will collaborate closely with underwriters to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risk profiles for new and existing business. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to translate complex risk concepts into clear, actionable insights. The Senior Risk Analyst will also be involved in the development and maintenance of risk reporting dashboards and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies. Qualifications:

Demonstrated expertise in specialty insurance lines and their associated risks. Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in statistical modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS). Experience with risk modeling software and techniques. Excellent understanding of insurance principles, products, and regulatory environments. Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in preparing and presenting risk reports to senior leadership. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PRM, FRM, ARM) are highly desirable. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
