Job Summary

As a Senior Risk Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing risks through data analysis and documentation reviews. Your recommendations will enhance efficiency and mitigate risks across the organization. You will collaborate closely with your manager to communicate critical findings and develop strategies to improve risk management.

This full-time position is based in Somerset, NJ; Austin, TX; or Dallas, TX, as directed by SHI management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate operational, financial, reputational, and strategic risks within the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and revise risk management policies and mitigation strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across various departments to identify unique risks and suggest effective mitigation strategies.
  • Support the maintenance and integration of the Risk and Resiliency (R&R) tool with other systems.
  • Lead initiatives to train and raise awareness about risk management throughout the company.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive risk documentation, policies, and the Risk Register.
  • Conduct detailed Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) to ensure operational effectiveness and report findings.
  • Assist in internal governance reviews and audits, advising teams on risk documentation and remediation.
  • Propose process enhancements to strengthen controls and encourage efficiency and cost savings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting risk management.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful risk reports and KPIs for management and board review, advocating for necessary actions.
  • Support Incident Response & Management by identifying risks and providing relevant metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in Risk Management with a strong focus on operational risk and process improvement.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management.
  • 2+ years in Business Continuity and Incident Management.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management and Business Continuity standards (ISO 31000, 27001, 22301, NIST, ITIL) is preferred.
  • Experience with GRC Risk Management tools; familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
  • Willing to travel up to 25% for business engagements and vendor assessments.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings/weekends, as needed.
  • Certifications such as CRM or PRM are advantageous.

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $80,000 - $130,000, based on skills, experience, and location. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending options.
