Responsibilities: Design, build, and test robotic systems, including end-effectors, manipulators, and mobile platforms. Develop and implement advanced control algorithms for robot motion, perception, and human-robot interaction. Utilize simulation tools (e.g., ROS, Gazebo, MATLAB/Simulink) to model, test, and validate robotic behaviors before physical implementation. Integrate various sensors (LiDAR, cameras, force sensors, etc.) and actuators into robotic systems. Program robot controllers using languages such as C++, Python, and relevant robotics frameworks. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, mechanical engineers, and product managers. Conduct thorough performance analysis, identify design flaws, and implement solutions to optimize system efficiency and reliability. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent filings and technical publications. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, AI, machine learning, and control theory. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence. Manage project timelines and deliverables for assigned robotics development tasks. Perform system integration and testing in laboratory and field environments. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during development and deployment. Contribute to the strategic roadmap for future robotic product development. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in robotics engineering, with a focus on system design and implementation. Strong expertise in robot kinematics, dynamics, and control systems. Proficiency in C++ and Python programming for robotics applications. Extensive experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and common robotics simulation tools. Hands-on experience with sensor integration (e.g., vision systems, IMUs, tactile sensors) and actuator control. Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to robotics (e.g., path planning, object recognition). Experience with embedded systems and real-time control. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts clearly. Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and deliver results. Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
