Senior Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry

A company is looking for a Senior Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry. Key Responsibilities Synthesize ligands or nucleoside monomers and incorporate them into therapeutic oligonucleotides Perform bioconjugation of oligonucleotides to ligands targeting cell surface receptors Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to the research and development of breakthrough therapies Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Organic or Nucleic Acid Chemistry with at least 2 years of post-doctoral experience Experience in nucleoside/oligonucleotide synthesis and purification Proficiency in purification techniques such as ion exchange, reverse-phase, and size-exclusion chromatography Familiarity with automated lab equipment like NMR and LC-MS Track record of scientific productivity evidenced by high-quality publications and/or patents
