Job Description

Jellyfish is looking to hire a Senior Social Content & Influencer Manager to join our team Your role is to lead the day-to-day delivery of our clients’ social media presence to achieve their KPIs. You will be able to lead on complete projects, providing oversight and support to junior team members. You will oversee the development and delivery of social media calendars, ensuring all content aligns with platform best practices and client objectives. Additionally, you will lead or oversee creator/influencer management, while also helping to drive innovation in social media strategies.

This role requires a strong blend of social content expertise and hands-on influencer marketing experience, with a focus on delivering integrated, creator-led social campaigns. With a deep understanding of social audiences and trends, you will collaborate with other agency capabilities (project management, brand strategy, creative, production) and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality, culturally relevant content that resonates with target audiences. You will be a team player, able to loop the right teams at the right time, and to know when to escalate a situation.

This is a flexible hybrid position based out of our New York office. The salary range for this role is between $105,000-110,000 USD, annually, and is dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee asset delivery for our clients' social media output, including both brand-led and creator/influencer-led content, ensuring best practices are followed across briefing, production, and delivery.

• Create and oversee social copy development, ensuring it aligns with brand voice and platform best practices. This includes support in the development of Tone of Voice guidelines as needed.

• Own creator and influencer management end-to-end, including research and sourcing, outreach, briefing, feedback, and relationship management with creators and their agents.

• Support influencer negotiations, contract reviews, and edit requests in partnership with internal stakeholders, ensuring deliverables, usage rights, timelines, and budgets are clearly defined.

• Social lead on client events/shoots, directing talent, as needed. This includes pre production and content capture at client events/shoots.

• Lead and oversee the management of our client's social media channels, from development and delivery of social media calendars (for both paid and organic assets) to planning posting schedules, publishing and community management.

• Drive strategic creative ideas and support new business opportunities, including deck development and client presentations.

• Lead and oversee the development and delivery of social media reports for our clients, applying social best practices to provide analysis and optimizations.

• Supports new business activities, including social strategy/ideation, deck development, and client presentations.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as expert presentation skills. Confident taking the lead when talking to clients via email, call or in-person.

• Always up to date with the new trends/behaviours on social media, able to start identifying tactical opportunities for our clients.

• Delegating tasks as needed ensuring deadlines and project KPIs are met and escalating to Directors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Expertise across all social media platforms as needed: Meta (Facebook, Instagram), X, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitch. Extensive knowledge of platform best practices.

• Always up to date with the new trends/behaviors on social media, able to translate these to clients in a reactive and relevant way and to identify strategic opportunities.

• Have a keen interest in popular culture and a deep understanding of social audiences and fandoms. Able to speak the language of the internet.

• Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns, including creator sourcing, negotiations, contracting workflows, and post-campaign recaps.

• Expertise of Platform Business Manager (i.e Facebook business manager, X business, Snapchat for Business, TikTok Studio) and native platform tools/products.

• Proficiency with these tools and using them on a regular basis is essential.

• Understanding of paid media creative and ability to work with media agencies.

• Able to work across paid and organic social within Jellyfish’s One Social approach.

• Great collaboration with other Jellyfish capabilities (client & project management, strategy, creative, design, video, analytics) and client stakeholders (ATL, media agencies, etc).

• Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to flex and pivot in a fast-paced industry, as well as the ability to identify when something needs to be escalated internally.

• Excellent organization, communication, and attention to detail.
