About Mesh

At Mesh, our mission is to enable consumers to pay and be paid with any asset. Today, trillions of dollars in tokenized assets exist but remain largely unusable for everyday commerce. Mesh is bridging this gap by making crypto payments reliable, useful, and ubiquitous. We combine a powerful orchestration engine with a seamless consumer app to unlock liquidity for the world. Backed by leading investors like PayPal Ventures, Paradigm, and Galaxy Ventures, we are building the infrastructure for the next era of the global economy. Join us!

Overview

We're hiring a founding senior Solutions Engineer based in the APAC region to serve as Mesh's technical point of contact for customers and prospects across APAC. This is a hybrid role that spans presales, implementation, and technical support, making it ideal for an experienced crypto-native operator who thrives on variety and wants to own a broad scope in a high-growth region. You'll partner with Sales on technical evaluations and demos, guide customer engineering teams through API and SDK integrations, and serve as the first line of triage for production issues before escalating to our US-based support and engineering teams. You'll work closely with our Solutions Architects, Solutions Engineers, and Support Engineers to maintain continuity across timezones and ensure customers never lose momentum.

This role is high-impact and high-autonomy. You'll be Mesh's face in the region, trusted to represent the platform technically and build relationships with some of the largest companies in crypto, fintech, iGaming, and traditional finance.

What You'll Do

Partner with Sales to support technical evaluations, RFPs, and proof-of-concept engagements for APAC prospects

Lead technical demos and architecture discussions, translating customer requirements into Mesh integration strategies

Build and present solution designs that map Mesh's APIs, SDKs, and smart routing capabilities to customer use cases

Provide technical input on deal scoping, including feasibility and integration complexity estimates

Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, building confidence with customer engineering and product teams

Guide customer engineering teams through SDK and API integration, from sandbox to production launch

Own the technical implementation process for APAC accounts, coordinating with US-based Solutions Architects on complex builds

Conduct integration reviews and troubleshoot issues during onboarding to reduce time-to-live

Create and maintain region-specific playbooks, implementation guides, and best practices documentation

Track implementation milestones and proactively communicate status to internal stakeholders and customers

Drive adoption and optimization post-launch, helping customers scale volume and expand use cases

Serve as the first point of technical triage for APAC customer issues during regional business hours

Investigate and diagnose issues using Datadog, Amplitude, and internal tooling before escalating to US-based Support Engineering or Product/Engineering teams

Provide clear, structured escalation context (reproduction steps, logs, impact assessment) to ensure fast resolution

Join live troubleshooting calls with customers to resolve API, SDK, or transaction-level issues

Identify patterns in support requests and feed insights back to Product and Engineering to drive platform improvements

Who You Are

5+ years in solutions engineering, technical consulting, implementations, or a technical customer-facing role, with meaningful time spent in crypto, digital assets, or blockchain infrastructure

Crypto-native. You understand wallets, on/off-ramps, stablecoins, DEXs, bridges, custodial vs. non-custodial architectures, and how crypto payments infrastructure works at a protocol and product level. This is not a "nice to have."

Hands-on experience with APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and RESTful integrations. You've built, debugged, and documented integrations yourself.

Comfortable running technical demos and leading architecture discussions with senior engineering, product stakeholders and senior leaders at enterprise accounts

Proactively use AI tools in your day-to-day work — whether for drafting documentation, accelerating troubleshooting, building demos, or automating repetitive workflows. You don't wait to be told to use AI; you reach for it naturally and know how to get real leverage out of it.

Proven ability to manage multiple customers and workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Clear, structured communicator, both written and verbal. You can translate complex technical concepts for different audiences, from developer docs to executive messaging.

Self-directed and high-autonomy. You'll be operating as the sole founding APAC CS resource and need to make sound decisions independently.

Familiarity with observability and analytics tools (Datadog, Amplitude, or similar)

Experience navigating the APAC crypto ecosystem, including regional exchanges, wallets, regulatory landscapes, and market dynamics

Comfortable working with distributed teams across timezones. Your core overlap with the US team will be morning SGT / evening US PT.

Experience using and creating AI-assisted workflows and automation tools

Prior experience as an early hire or building a function from scratch at a high-growth startup

Why You’ll Love It Here

At Mesh, you're not stepping into a typical role—you're joining a rocket ship in mid-liftoff. You'll tackle complex, meaningful problems that actually move an industry forward, working alongside a sharp, motivated team that moves quickly, collaborates deeply, and expects everyone to operate with ownership. This is the kind of place where you'll see your work ship fast, make real impact, and be able to point to something and say, "I built that." You'll grow fast, level up your skills, and get a front-row seat to how a high-growth company scales from the inside, with competitive comp, solid benefits, and room to stretch your craft all coming standard. If you're energized by building, learning, and shaping something big—this is where you'll want to be.

In-Office Expectations

Employees based in our San Francisco, New York, and Bangalore hubs are expected to work from the office at least 40% of the time (approximately two days per week). This expectation may vary slightly depending on role, team, and business needs. Certain roles that require closer cross-functional collaboration or operational support may have additional in-office requirements, which will be discussed during the interview process. Our hybrid approach is designed to balance meaningful in-person collaboration, team building, and real-time decision-making with the flexibility to work remotely. We believe this structure supports strong execution while preserving autonomy and focus time.

How We Care For Our Team

We believe great work happens when people feel valued and supported. That starts with competitive salary and equity that grows as you and the company grow, plus comprehensive health coverage for you and your family. We offer unlimited PTO—and we mean it. Take the time you need to recharge and show up at your best.

We're invested in your growth with a dedicated budget for courses, conferences, and certifications. Work from wherever you're most productive with our remote-friendly approach, and count on having the top-tier tools and equipment you need to do exceptional work.

Mesh Pay is committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, genetic information, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, lawful alien status, national origin, age, marital status, and non-job related physical or mental disability, or protected veteran status. Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
