Essential Functions: Responsible for all aspects of detailed design and development of Power Supplies for RF and microwave assemblies. This includes system power distribution and module level design and definition, schematic capture, circuit design, derating, and Worst-Case Analysis (WCA). Define EMI/EMC requirements and implement methods to meet product requirements Prepare and present engineering design concepts and data results for IDR/PDR/CDR Estimate task schedules and budgets (BOEs) for programs, proposals, and IR&D efforts Support internal peer design reviews, design verification testing of engineering unit and oversight of design through production Qualifications: Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required and at least 6 years of Power Supply design experience.
Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 4 years of Power Supply experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. 2 years of development of isolated and non-isolated Buck, Boost, Forward, Flyback, half Bridge or Full Bridge Converters 2 years experience troubleshooting subassembl ies to the component level Professional experience independently developing test procedures and conducting design verification testing for temperature, inrush, load and line variation, and pulse loading for stability. 2 years experience with design and test for EMI (Electromagnetic Interface) Preferred Additional Skills: Experience within the aerospace industry Familiarity with transmitter and receiver architecture and design Simulation e
