We’re searching for a Senior Staff Signal Integrity Engineer.

In this role you will

Lead Signal Integrity(SI), Power Integrity(PI)  implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, Sensors and hardnesses.

Develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high speed channel and SOC to optimize SI/PI performance.

Model complex 3D structures, such as PCB Connector and cables

Extract and characterize high speed channel and compliance against industry standards

Lead  high speed interfaces validation in lab with high end scope, VNA and spectrum analyzer

Required qualifications

MS (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 8 + years of industry experience

Experience with design and implementation of high speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIE Gen4/Gen5, high speed or automotive ethernet, DDR/LPDDR4/5, MIPI, HDMI, USB,etc

Good EM  knowledge and proficient at SI/PI simulation tools, HFSS/SIwave, ADS or Cadence Sigrity.

Solid understanding  transmission line theory,  S-parameter, signal processing and PCB material, Stackup and fabrication process.

Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, real time Scope, spectrum analyzer and TDR, etc

Desirable qualifications

Experienced with automotive hardware development

Experience with mix signal design 

Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl or Python

The base salary range for this position is $197,000 - $285,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
