Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead a skilled team of quality technicians at our York, Nebraska facility, supporting the manufacturing of precision-machined components.
This is an onsite role in York, NE andbe eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do
- Lead daily quality operations, including inspection, testing, auditing, and non-conformance management.
- Supervise and develop quality technicians and/or inspectors, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for quality engineering principles—MSA, FMEA, SPC, control plans, and risk management.
- Participate in product and process qualification activities, including validation, sampling plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate quality metrics for assignedareato drive operational decision-making and prioritize improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Participate in customer complaint investigations and provide timely, professional responses with data-driven conclusions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, AS9100)
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree andminimum5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of QMS tools, quality engineering methods, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications We Prefer
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficient in root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone) and statistical methods.
- Certifications such as CQE, CQA a plus.
- SAP or other ERP system experience
