About the Role
Our client is a renowned financial infrastructure organization in Hong Kong, pioneering the next generation of digital financial services. They are actively expanding their engineering team to design and build highly secure, scalable platforms that will power the region's upcoming digital currency and cross-border settlement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the end-to-end development and implementation of cutting-edge FinTech initiatives, including cloud-based financial systems, digital currency platforms, and distributed ledger technology (DLT) networks.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate complex technical requirements for large-scale system builds.
- Execute hands-on system deployments, utilizing advanced scripting tools to manage testing, debugging, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Manage project lifecycles encompassing scope, budget, resource allocation, and stakeholder expectations to ensure the timely delivery of enterprise solutions.
- Oversee vendor relationships and performance, ensuring external deliverables strictly align with targeted project milestones and technical standards.
- Generate comprehensive project status reports through the collection and analysis of key data metrics to drive informed decision-making across cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience for the Specialist level, or 10+ years for the Architect level, ideally within the financial sector.
- Extensive hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure provisioning, enterprise application deployment, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong programming proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, coupled with deep knowledge of RESTful/SOAP API integrations, Nginx, and relational databases like MySQL.
- Demonstrated capability in utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization tools, including Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Solid technical understanding of blockchain frameworks (Hyperledger or Ethereum), NodeJS, TypeScript, and modern cryptographic security protocols (symmetric/asymmetric encryption, SSL/TLS).
- Exceptional technical writing and communication capabilities, with a strong command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to effectively engage regional stakeholders.
