Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft Infrastructure & Cloud)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support a Microsoft-centric infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. This role will work closely with infrastructure leadership to ensure high availability, security, and performance across enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage identity and access controls across Active Directory and Azure AD environments.
- Architect and administer Microsoft Azure services and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy and maintain Hyper-V virtualization platforms and high-availability clusters.
- Manage Windows Server environments and support enterprise storage platforms (SAN/NAS).
- Integrate third-party cloud and SaaS platforms with existing infrastructure.
- Implement and enhance security controls across cloud and on-prem systems.
- Develop disaster recovery, replication, and failover strategies for critical services.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve incidents through root cause analysis.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools.
- Produce technical documentation and serve as a senior escalation point for the systems team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years managing Microsoft enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Hyper-V, Exchange (on-prem & Online), Microsoft Defender, and enterprise backup/storage platforms.
- Experience with PowerShell automation and enterprise monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices in hybrid environments.
This role requires a hands-on engineer who can lead infrastructure initiatives, support critical systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
