Job Description

We are seeking a motivated candidate for a key role in within the Global Markets team. The successful candidate will be part of the EMEA Credit Support team which will provide support to EMEA Credit traders who utilize in-house built electronic trading and risk management platforms. You will be part of a team of 5 resources in London with a wider global team of 20+ providing follow the sun support from our key trading and technology locations - London, New York and Singapore.

The role will be directly supporting traders, and the expectation is that all team members will assist with BAU support and issue resolution in addition to project work assigned based on their skill set. The role provides an opportunity within a trader facing team to gain a strong understanding of several technology areas. The depth and breadth of the support offered by this team makes it an excellent environment in which to learn and grow.

The suite of applications that will be supported covers many different functional aspects of the business, including electronic trading, pricing and trade capture, risk generation and aggregation, market and reference data. The role will give the successful candidate exposure to the full front-to-back process from trade inception to feeding risk downstream.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for end business users in the FICC Credit space
  • Ownership and delivery of on-boarding support processes into the MAPS organization
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts
  • Monitoring and alerting critical trading system environments
  • Troubleshooting complex system issues
  • Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
  • Development of tools and efficiency/stability improvements
  • Accurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reporting
  • Release implementation and enforcement of change management policy
  • Major Incident management and Problem Management
  • Role is required to be in office as it is direct face to face interaction with business partners

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience supporting Credit trading environments within an EMEA front‑office setting
  • Experience in application production support roles, with a strong focus on business‑as‑usual support alongside project involvement
  • Recent and demonstrable hands‑on experience supporting Credit products, including Corporate Bonds, CDS (Credit Default Swaps), ETFs, Index trading
  • Strong front‑office exposure with daily interaction and liaison with traders
  • Proven experience supporting electronic trading platforms, including interaction with third‑party vendors and in‑house built applications
  • Experience monitoring and supporting mission‑critical trading systems using enterprise monitoring tools
  • Background in investment banking or financial services environments
