About the Role

This position sits at the vital intersection of Product and Machine Learning, focusing on productionizing AI into high impact customer facing features. You will build the TypeScript services and APIs that bring experimental model outputs into the hands of users from global brands managing over $10B in commerce. The mission involves designing stateful AI agents and high availability services at the edge, valuing real world user impact while ensuring every feature is operationally stable and reliable at scale.

Most Important

• Expert TypeScript and Node.js Proficiency with at least 3 years of experience building scalable backend services.

• Proven AI and LLM Implementation including a track record of shipping features with complex prompt engineering and tool calling.

• Distributed Systems Experience particularly with serverless or edge computing models such as Cloudflare Workers or AWS Lambda.

• Database and Persistence Mastery using SQL fundamentals and modern ORMs like Drizzle for PostgreSQL or SQLite.

• High Level API Design and the ability to integrate with complex downstream services and various technical environments.

• Full Lifecycle Ownership from developing evaluation frameworks to production debugging and monitoring.

Nice to Have

• Cloudflare Ecosystem Specialization featuring Durable Objects, R2, Vectorize, or AI Gateway.

• Familiarity with Leading AI SDKs such as Vercel AI, Anthropic SDK, or the Model Context Protocol.

• Advanced Observability Skills using OpenTelemetry or Datadog to track LLM performance and reliability.

• Vector Database Knowledge specifically regarding semantic search and real time machine learning serving patterns.
