The role offers significant exposure across deal teams, Legal & Compliance, Business Development, and portfolio company CFOs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the firm's quarterly valuation process, including preparing portfolio company valuations, maintaining key metrics, and producing quarterly valuation reports across the fund complex
  • Coordinate with investment teams to develop a working view on portfolio company outlook, forecasts, and performance
  • Maintain valuation documentation, ensure compliance with valuation policies, and coordinate with auditors and third parties on valuation-specific issues
  • Maintain quarterly track records and support Business Development with reporting needs and limited partner information requests
  • Assist with internal performance reporting including flash reporting, GP reporting, fund performance forecasting, and ad hoc analyses
  • Partner with Legal, Capital Markets, and Portfolio Resources teams on portfolio company data and reporting initiatives
  • Facilitate portfolio company performance data collection through the firm's database (iLevel), interacting directly with portfolio company finance teams
  • Support process improvement and automation initiatives, including AI-driven enhancements to data collection workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • ~3+ years of relevant valuation experience — ideally portfolio company / business valuation work from a top valuation advisory practice or public accounting valuation group
  • Sound understanding of ASC 820 valuation requirements, methodologies, and financial statement analysis with the ability to formulate independent opinions
