Title: SMT Manufacturing Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing)

About the role

This role supports electronics manufacturing operations with a focus on SMT process execution and optimization. The engineer will work across SMT production equipment, ensuring adherence to IPC standards and supporting manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Support and optimize SMT processes including Solder Paste Printing (MPM, Ekra), SPI (Koh Young), Component Placement (Mycronic, Fuji), Reflow (BTU), AOI (Koh Young), and X-Ray (Nordson, Omron)

Apply and ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards

Perform soldering and support process optimization within electronics manufacturing

Work with Selective Soldering (ERSA), Depaneling (G-Tech), and Press Fit equipment

Support Conformal Coating (Nordson), Underfill, and Plasma Cleaning processes

Utilize Factory Logix (MES) for manufacturing execution and tracking

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing

Hands-on experience with SMT equipment and processes

Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards

Experience with soldering and conformal coating processes

Familiarity with Factory Logix (MES)

Engineering degree
