Client Overview:

Our client is a leading organization in the

wealth management sector

, undertaking a major data transformation initiative. They are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to lead the migration of legacy/on-premises systems to Snowflake.

Role Overview:

The Lead Snowflake Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality data solutions for complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data migration pipelines to Snowflake.

• Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Spark SQL, and PySpark.

• Manage Snowflake objects and implement advanced features (streams, tasks, Snowpipe, time travel).

• Optimize query performance and maintain dimensional models (SCDs, star/snowflake schema).

• Integrate Snowflake with Databricks and other tools.

• Collaborate with teams and act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10–12 years in BFSI, with at least 2 years in wealth management.

• 7–10 years in data warehousing/data management projects.

• Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Spark SQL, PySpark, and ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Experience with structured and semi-structured data, dimensional modeling, and large-scale migrations.
