The Social Media Assistant will support Account Managers in executing, retaining, and growing client retainers, focusing on organic social media execution and paid social media campaigns. This role is ideal for a final-year university student aiming to transition to a full-time position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage social media content calendars, including copywriting and scheduling across platforms.

Oversee community management and provide best practice recommendations.

Post content outside working hours as needed.

Track organic social performance against KPIs and report concerns.

Manage weekly and monthly reporting for key clients.

Paid Social Media (30%):

Set up and optimize social media campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

Support client communications regarding campaign setups and changes.

Track ad performance, KPIs, and budgets, reporting concerns proactively.

Assist in managing weekly and monthly reporting for key clients.

Qualifications

University student or graduate in Marketing, Communications, or Social Media.

Experience in customer service, preferably in retail.
