ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our AI/ML engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our core simulation systems that drive essential predictions for global enterprises. You will be responsible for the precision and intelligence of our simulation engine, working on everything from synthetic population generation to response estimation. Collaborating closely with research, infrastructure, and product teams, you will design, train, and evaluate models that enable us to simulate human behavior with remarkable accuracy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement training environments for advanced language models in simulations.
• Create high-quality evaluation frameworks for domain-specific prediction tasks.
• Combine classical ML techniques with deep learning architectures to enhance simulation accuracy.
• Develop and refine core modules for population-level predictions.
• Create and train new models, while finetuning existing ones for precise human decision-making simulations across different question types.
• Gather, process, and utilize diverse data sources to enhance the accuracy of synthetic populations.

YOU MAY BE A FIT IF

• You possess deep expertise in ML and AI, with substantial experience working with Large Language Models in production.
• You have designed and executed rigorous ML experiments from hypothesis through evaluation and deployment.
• You bring 3+ years of hands-on experience building ML/AI systems, whether in research or application.
• You are comfortable navigating the full model lifecycle: from data collection, training, evaluation, to production integration.
• You have collaborated effectively with engineering and product teams to deliver ML-driven features.
• Your curiosity drives you to explore and expand the possibilities of simulation technology.

STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO

• Have publications in leading ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL).
• Have experience in building or fine-tuning multi-agent systems.
• Have worked with probabilistic modeling, Bayesian inference, or causal reasoning.
• Demonstrate familiarity with our tech stack or the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

LOCATION

This role is based in New York City at our in-person office. During this exciting period of rapid growth, we operate 6 days a week in the office. Candidates should be located within the New York City metropolitan area or be willing to relocate.
