Overview
My client is a top-tier, technology-driven quantitative investment firm, operating globally across all liquid asset classes. The firm is known for its scientific approach to investing, where research, data, and engineering sit at the core of the business rather than in support of it. Technology is viewed as a true alpha enabler, and engineers work directly alongside quantitative researchers to solve complex, compute-intensive problems at scale. They are expanding their HPC Research Platform team, responsible for building and evolving an in-house platform that underpins large-scale quantitative research across the organization.
The role
This is a core platform engineering position focused on enabling massive compute workloads for research teams globally. You will work on the systems that provide secure, efficient access to compute and data, supporting everything from job submission and scheduling through to observability and orchestration across heterogeneous environments.
You will collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, infrastructure engineers, and platform teams, helping to shape how computational research is executed at scale.
