Position Overview

As a Software Engineering Group Manager within PNC's C&IB Payments organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.

Role Overview:

The Software Engineering Group Manager will lead a team within the C&IB Payments Technology organization, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Java-based applications supporting enterprise payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development
  • Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards
  • Oversee full software development lifecycle execution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
  • Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security practices, and compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes
