Job Description
Duties and responsibilities
- Become knowledgeable about the Synapse Select product line, including its deployment methods and architecture for on-premise and cloud configurations.
- Create and execute manual software test cases for verification and validation protocols.
- Conduct exploratory functional testing and document any issues encountered.
- Reproduce and log product defects in the JIRA ticketing system.
- Handle individual development ticket and regression testing, documenting test results clearly.
- Communicate with Software and Template Engineering teams, providing feedback and facilitating information exchange as needed.
- Engage in contractor QA team meetings to deepen product knowledge.
- Collaborate with the automated testing team to review and implement new test cases.
- Design forms in accordance with the Medical Informatics Design Control Process for Synapse Select products.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of service manuals and product documentation.
- Provide support to Operations and Support teams with technical inquiries related to the Synapse Select product line.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements and ISO 13485 standards.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or technical field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in Software Development, Software QA, or related fields.
- Practical experience or knowledge of Software Development, testing, or Software QA.
- Basic knowledge of software medical devices and terminology, including DICOM and HL7 standards.
- Understanding of AGILE software development and software design controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and Access or similar software.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
