Provide supplemental technical depth to support Level III engineers, tying work together more efficiently before it escalates to SMEs responsible for final deployment
Work cross-functionally with planning, design, PMO, and engineering teams to enable engineers to focus on engineering again, rather than process gaps

Specialized Wireless Process Engineer IV
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (Hybrid)

Role Overview
This is a new role created to address gaps in process, intake, and deployment rhythm across wireless engineering efforts. The Wireless Process Engineer IV will develop and mature intake processes, establish accountability, and stabilize how changes move from planning into production. This position will work cross-functionally with planning, design, project management, and engineering teams to enable engineers to focus on engineering, resulting in better execution and a more predictable production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and mature intake processes for a clear and repeatable workflow into engineering.
Establish accountability and deployment rhythm, including scheduling and sequencing of production changes.
Help stabilize how code upgrades and infrastructure changes move from planning into engineering and deployment.
Provide supplemental technical depth to support Level III engineers, tying work together more efficiently.
Work cross-functionally with planning, design, PMO, and engineering teams to resolve process gaps.
Participate in wireless network planning, architecture design, and engineering.
Integrate and schematically depict communication architectures, topologies, hardware, and software.
Evaluate new products and perform wireless network problem resolution.
Required Qualifications
Technical Background:
Expert-level carrier-grade WiFi experience across WiFi 5, 6, and 7.
Proven experience deploying changes into live production networks; lab-only experience is not sufficient.
Strong understanding of production deployments, including code upgrades and infrastructure changes.
Solid networking fundamentals (OSI Model, TCP/IP) and ability to connect technical work across teams.
Proficient knowledge of wireless industry specifications and standards (IEEE, ANSI, 802.11 variants), Bridging, Switching, and Routing.
Process & Execution:
Demonstrated ability to build or improve processes where none exist.
Experience defining intake workflows, accountability models, and deployment cadence.
Comfortable creating structure without being overly rigid or bureaucratic.
Tools & Ways of Working:
Experience using Jira and Chalk or similar workflow and intake tools.
Proficient knowledge of wireless network designing software, such as Visio.
People Skills:
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative personality.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with planning, design, PMO, and engineering.
Able to influence without authority and help teams adopt better ways of working.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of wireless network experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP).
Wireless industry and vendor-specific training (Cisco, Arris, Ruckus, etc.).
