Sports Betting Quant Analyst – Prop Trading (Dubai)

Location: Dubai (Relocation required)

We’re hiring a Quant Analyst to support our clients senior prop trader across Tennis, NBA and Football markets. You’ll sit at the intersection of quant research and trading , validating ideas, building models, and shaping execution strategy across exchanges (Betfair/Matchbook) and soft books (Bet365 & regional operators).

This is a desk‑embedded research role —no execution responsibilities, but full ownership of analysis, validation, sizing, and risk logic.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert trading hypotheses into testable statistical models
• Analyse props across Tennis, NBA, Football (aces, points, shots, cards, PRA, etc.)
• Identify edge persistence, variance, correlations, regime shifts
• Use exchanges for price discovery , fair value estimation & benchmarking
• Spot soft‑book inefficiencies and produce execution packs (stakes, confidence bands, hedges)
• Track CLV , hit rate, drawdowns, and edge decay
• Build dashboards and deliver clear insights directly to the trader

Required Skills

Essential:

• Strong probability & statistics background
• Python (pandas/numpy) or R
• SQL
• Understanding of CLV, vig removal, staking logic (Kelly), exchange mechanics

Desirable:

• Betfair API, Pinnacle/odds feeds
• Sportradar/Opta/StatsBomb
• Web scraping & automation
• Knowledge of props markets (Tennis/NBA/Football)
