We are seeking a highly technical Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing, remote-first technology company building modern AI-driven infrastructure products for enterprise users. This is a high-impact opportunity to work directly with senior leadership and a small, elite engineering team focused on developing scalable AI capabilities inside a sophisticated data platform environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services using C#/.NET

• Develop AI-related platform functionality and infrastructure

• Build REST APIs and distributed/microservice-based systems

• Collaborate closely with product, architecture, and engineering leadership

• Support high-performance, enterprise-grade platform capabilities

• Contribute to technical design and system architecture discussions

The ideal candidate will be mid-level backend .Net Software Engineer with recent experience within a small, fast-paced, API-focused AI infrastructure startup company with lean, highly collaborative engineering teams, where they have operated with significant ownership, autonomy, and a strong “go-getter” mentality.

Must Have:

• 5–10 years of backend software engineering experience using C#/.Net

• 1+ year of experience working on AI-related features (LLM)

• Experience using Restful APIs for infrastructure

• Previous experience working for a startup company

Preferred:

• DevOps experience

• MCP experience

• Snowflake, Databricks, or dbt
