Sr. Controls Engineer (Siemens , TIA Portal , Logix 5000) Location: Indianapolis, IN. / Lancaster, PA Duration: 12+ Months Contract Required Min. experience : 10+ Years Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Controls Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with hands-on expertise in Allen bradley, Siemens, TIA Portal, and Logix 5000. As a Controls Engineer, you will design, program, and implement automation systems that drive efficiency and innovation in industrial processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement PLC and HMI solutions using Siemens TIA Portal and Rockwell Logix 5000 platforms. Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure reliability and performance. Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to develop customized automation solutions. Commission, test, and validate system functionality on-site. Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, and system specifications. Qualifications: Proven experience with Siemens, TIA Portal, and Logix 5000 programming and implementation. Strong understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and communication protocols. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
