Job Description

Essential Duties

  • Design, program, and support automated control systems.
  • Develop and document PLC ladder logic, electrical schematics, and HMI interfaces (ACAD).
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade PLC-controlled equipment, both remotely and on-site.
  • Lead design reviews, system startups, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop project timelines, BOMs, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze processes and implement control system improvements.
  • Travel up to 35% and support weekend/overtime work as needed.
  • Follow all safety, OSHA, and company policies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of industrial controls, sensors, drives, motion control, and PLC I/O.
  • Experience with ControlLogix, CompactLogix; Siemens and Automation Direct a plus.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD electrical schematics and panel layouts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and ladder logic.
  • Experience with AC drives, VFDs, HMIs, servos, PID, and motion control.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field preferred.
