The Role:

As a Sr DevOps/Cloud engineer within this firm, you will be responsible for the transition towards a modern, high performing cloud environment (AWS ideally). You will be surrounded by a lean, well crafted team of high caliber engineering backgrounds. You will be driving automation leveraging IaC as well as crafting cloud native applications, so there is software engineering responsibilities (OOP, python) . Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, or related field
• 5+ YOE configuring and maintaining cloud service environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP; AWS Preferred)
• 3+ YOE crafting CI/CD pipes with expertise in Git, GitLab, Jenkins
• SME understanding of AWS services: ideally EKS, Elasticache Redis, boto3 (Terraform or CloudFormation), and other related services.
• 5+ YOE in OOP language (Python the best)
• Expertise within a Linux oriented environment and related networking concepts
• Exposure to tools such as New Relic, Prometheus, Cloudwatch/trail, and more

Preferences:

• Cloud Native Application experience: AWS SAM, Lambda
• Related AWS Certs
