Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr Engineering and Technology Talent Acquisition Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Houston, TX 77049. The role involves managing the full lifecycle of recruitment to attract top talent in engineering and technology fields in the Energy and Oil and Gas sectors. Responsibilities include developing recruitment strategies, identifying and engaging qualified candidates, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to meet organizational hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical and corporate roles, including engineering, field operations, sales, procurement, and accounting.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and Boolean search techniques to source top talent.
  • Develop targeted recruitment strategies for Oil & Gas, Energy, and Manufacturing professionals, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and build proactive talent pipelines for future needs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry-specific hiring regulations across Oil & Gas, Energy, and Manufacturing operations.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives through job fairs, industry networking, and social media recruitment efforts.
  • Enhance the onboarding experience to improve employee retention and engagement.
  • Provide general HR support, including policy communication, employee relations, and benefits coordination as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 6 years of experience in recruitment and HR, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment roles to identify qualified candidates.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple hiring projects simultaneously.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams and working with field-based and corporate employees.
