Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an experienced Sr Engineering Manager to lead high-performing engineering teams within the aerospace domain. This leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, engineering strategy, and product development across a diverse portfolio of systems, software, and hardware solutions.

The ideal candidate will partner with cross-functional leaders to define product roadmaps, enhance engineering quality, and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while fostering a high-performance and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams across systems, software, and hardware domains to deliver high-quality aerospace solutions
  • Drive product strategy, technology roadmaps, and execution plans aligned with business objectives
  • Oversee program execution, including schedules, milestones, and deliverables
  • Champion innovation initiatives to improve productivity, reduce cycle time, and optimize costs
  • Implement Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices across engineering functions
  • Ensure successful product lifecycle management from development through launch and in-service support
  • Manage resource planning including workforce allocation, hiring needs, and vendor coordination
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment and execution excellence
  • Foster a culture of performance, engagement, and professional development within the engineering team
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical discipline
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
  • Proven experience managing global and cross-functional engineering teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive engineering execution and deliver results in complex environments
