Summary
Senior Financial Analyst supporting Transportation within Supply Chain Finance, providing forward-looking insights, financial modeling, and decision support to drive operational strategy and long-range planning. This hybrid role partners with cross functional leaders to manage forecasting, reporting, and performance management while identifying efficiency and optimization opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting forecasting and variance analysis for Transportation and related Supply Chain functions.
- Develop performance narratives linking financial results to operational drivers risks and trends.
- Own and enhance strategic planning and rolling forecast models aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with Transportation Operations and Supply Chain leadership on budgeting trade offs and resource allocation.
- Serve as primary finance advisor to non financial leaders translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models using multiple data sources to assess cost drivers productivity and ROI.
- Support identification sizing prioritization and measurement of efficiency optimization initiatives including transportation cost reduction.
- Champion process improvement and automation to streamline reporting and planning workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance FP&A or Analytics with exposure to Supply Chain Operations or Transportation preferred.
- BA or BS in Finance Accounting Economics or related field MBA or advanced degree a plus.
- Proven ability in financial analysis modeling with focus on business outcomes.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing decisions through data and communication.
- Strong technical skills including advanced Excel and experience with FP&A BI and data tools such as Anaplan Hyperion Tableau Power BI Looker Cognos or SQL.
- Experience improving or automating financial processes dashboards or planning models.
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage priorities meet deadlines and work independently.
- High attention to detail commitment to data integrity and comfort in collaborative evolving environment.
