The Senior Manager, Data & Systems Lead is a single‑threaded owner for CEOPs data products, measurement, and system enablement. This role provides functional leadership across data, systems, and insights without direct people management. The focus is on setting standards, driving clarity, influencing cross‑functional partners, and ensuring CEOPs leaders have trusted, timely data and fit‑for‑purpose systems to run the business.

This role is accountable for end‑to‑end data and system outcomes—from defining what we measure, to how data is produced and governed, to ensuring insights translate into durable system and process improvements.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Single‑threaded owner for CEOPs data products, including dashboards, scorecards, reporting, and data quality standards.
  • Owner of CEOPs system readiness and change delivery across the full lifecycle (requirements → build/enhancement → UAT → release → adoption).
  • Owner of the CEOPs measurement framework, ensuring clear definitions and alignment across inputs, outputs, timeliness, quality, and outcomes (where available).
  • Accountable for closed‑loop improvement by converting post‑event insights into sustained data, system, and automation enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Data, Metrics & Governance Leadership

  • Define and maintain CEOPs KPIs, metric definitions, and data governance standards, including taxonomy, sources of truth, and refresh cadence.
  • Establish consistency and rigor in how CEOPs performance is measured and reported across programs and therapeutic areas.
  • Monitor data quality, proactively identify issues, and coordinate resolution with IT, analytics, and platform partners.

Reporting & Insights Enablement

  • Design and maintain role‑based dashboards and standardized reporting to support QBRs, retrospectives, and leadership updates.
  • Enable self‑service analytics where appropriate, reducing manual reporting effort and increasing speed to insight.
  • Translate complex data into clear, decision‑ready insights for CEOPs and executive stakeholders.

Systems Ownership & Change Delivery

  • Own CEOPs system maintenance and enhancement requests, including feature requests, automation opportunities, and integration needs.
  • Drive requirements definition, prioritization, and delivery in partnership with IT, analytics, and external vendors.
  • Lead UAT coordination and release readiness, ensuring changes land on time and are validated before program execution when required.
  • Partner cross‑functionally to ensure system documentation and reporting definitions accurately reflect current system behavior.

Influence & Functional Leadership

  • Act as the functional authority for CEOPs data and systems, setting direction and standards adopted by cross‑functional teams.
  • Influence without authority by aligning stakeholders around shared outcomes, trade‑offs, and priorities.
  • Serve as a thought partner to CEOPs leadership on how data and systems can scale, simplify, and improve operational effectiveness.
