Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Automation / Packaging

We’re hiring a senior‑level Mechanical Design Engineer to design and improve high‑speed automated machinery used in packaging and web‑handling environments. This is a hands‑on role owning full machine design from concept through build, debug, and customer acceptance.

What You’ll Do

• Design complete machines using SolidWorks / AutoCAD
• Release BOMs, assemblies, and drawings
• Drive cost reduction & continuous improvement
• Support manufacturing, debug, FATs, and start‑ups
• Work directly with customers (occasional travel)

What We’re Looking For

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 10–15 years machine automation experience
• Strong SolidWorks
• Experience with packaging machinery, web handling, pneumatics
• Multi‑project, hands‑on mindset

Nice to Have

• VFFS / HFFS, food or regulated environments
• PLC exposure, CE‑compliant design
