We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) with extensive UAE experience in MEP contracting. The candidate must have a proven track record in delivering HVAC systems for high-rise buildings, villas, residential, and commercial projects within the UAE. Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and site execution is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC design, execution, and project management for MEP contracting works.
- Handle complete HVAC scope including design review, installation, testing & commissioning.
- Perform heat load calculations, equipment selection, and duct/pipe sizing.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with project specs.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, etc.).
- Manage site activities, supervise installation teams, and resolve technical issues.
- Monitor project progress, cost control, and timely delivery.
- Prepare method statements, RFIs, and technical documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in MEP projects
- Preferred experience in Emaar and Expo projects
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills
- Immediate availability is required
