We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing with extensive UAE experience in MEP contracting. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in design, execution, and supervision of plumbing and drainage systems for high-rise buildings, villas, residential, and commercial projects in the UAE, along with in-depth knowledge of local authority regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of plumbing, drainage, and firefighting support systems.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Ensure installation of water supply, drainage, stormwater, and sewage systems as per project specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal MEP teams.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
- Supervise site activities and resolve technical issues related to plumbing systems.
- Manage testing & commissioning activities, including pressure testing and inspections.
- Monitor project progress, cost control, and timely completion.
- Prepare RFIs, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in MEP projects
- Preferred experience in Emaar and Expo projects
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approvals
- Excellent leadership and coordination skills
- Immediate availability is required
