About the Team

The Global Policy and Communications team shapes how DoorDash, Deliveroo and Wolt show up in the world. Our Communications team is the voice of our company, telling the stories that amplify our impact and align our employees, merchants, Dashers, and partners around our mission. Our Public Policy team ensures DoorDash’s perspective is represented in the conversations that shape the future of work, commerce, and local economies. Together, we connect our business to the communities we serve and advance the policies and narratives that help them thrive.

About the Role

The iPoCo Chief of Staff function exists to make the global Policy and Communications organization run better, more strategically, more efficiently, and as one integrated team. This role is the operational engine behind that mission.

We're looking for a sharp operator who thrives in that space: someone who can own a budget process, design a planning cycle, and fix a broken workflow — and who gets genuine satisfaction from making a complex organization run well.

You're autonomous, structured, and curious. You are AI proficient, and you're always looking for the next application. You make the people around you more effective just by being on the team.

You're excited about this opportunity because...

Procurement & Vendor Operations

Manage a contingent worker who owns day-to-day vendor onboarding and payment processing — serving as their manager, thought partner, and escalation point

Own the overall PoCo procurement function: set the strategy, ensure quality and compliance, and continuously improve the systems the team runs on

Serve as a liaison with Finance and Legal on procurement policies, escalations, and process improvements

Budget Operations

Own the operational mechanics of budget tracking and reporting across the global org — maintaining real-time visibility, flagging risks, and surfacing insights proactively

Partner with the Chief of Staff on annual and H2 planning, and prepare leadership-ready materials for budget reviews and resource discussions

Strategic Planning

Design and run key global planning processes — annual planning, H2 planning, priority workstream tracking — owning the logistics, documentation, and follow-through that make them actually work

Maintain the systems we use to track priorities and execution across the leadership team

Global Team Operations

Own the team's shared operational infrastructure: onboarding materials, intranet content, shared drives, and team-wide resources

Support planning and logistics for global meetings and team events

AI & Process Innovation

Proactively identify opportunities to use AI tools to automate or streamline how we work

Test, iterate, and share learnings with the broader team — helping build iPoCo's practical AI capabilities over time

We’re excited about you because…

4–6+ years of experience in operations, strategy & operations, chief of staff support, or project management

A true operator: you've owned complex processes, managed budgets, and built systems that other people actually use

Strong project management instincts — you track things, follow through, and close loops without being asked

Comfortable building structure in ambiguous environments

AI-curious and proactive about it — you're already experimenting and always looking for the next application

Strong communicator who can synthesize complexity into crisp materials for senior audiences

Collaborative and low-ego; you get things done through others and make the team better by being on it
